Activity: Water, Water Everywhere (Food Fast, 2012-2013)
Description:
Through this activity, participants will learn about the daily and long-term consequences of living without access to clean, safe water sources, and learn how Catholic Relief Services helps people around the world tackle water and sanitation challenges in their own communities.
This activity begins with a discussion about the various uses of water and our daily consumption of it. Next, through a hands-on activity, participants will learn how their own lives would be affected if they did not have reliable access to this resource in their homes and communities. Finally, participants will learn how Catholic Relief Services is helping people around the world gain access to improved water and sanitation facilities.
